Bio

Marianne Hellman is born 1967, living in Västerås, Sweden.

She is a fiber artist, working with organic materials and having a penchant for jewelry art. Hellman has long experience working with a wide range of craft techniques. She uses that knowledge combined with new methods and unexpected materials.

Hellman previously studied silversmithing and in 2023 she completed a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in jewellery from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. Currently, she completes her MFA studies in the same field at Konstfack.

Marianne’s work has been exhibited nationally, internationally and digitally in places such as Hallwylska Museum, Botkyrka Konsthall, Västerås Konsthall, Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design, Lisbon 2nd Jewellery Biennale and Global Design Graduate show.

In 2023 she was granted with a scholarship from the Nils Johan Sjöstedt foundation. In 2024 she was granted a scholarship from Estrid Ericson foundation and in 2025 she was granted with a scholarship from Jubelfonden.
