Bio
Marianne Hellman is born 1967, living in Västerås, Sweden.
She is a fiber artist, working with organic materials and having a penchant for jewelry art. Hellman has a long experience working with a wide range of craft techniques. She uses that knowledge combined with new methods and unexpected materials.
Hellman previously studied silversmithing and in 2023 she completed a bachelor’s degree with a specialization in jewellery from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. Currently, she is continuing her master’s studies in the same field at Konstfack.
Marianne’s recent project “Go fish, go fish” has been shown at Konstfack Spring exhibition, the Hallwylska museum and at Västerås Konsthall.
In 2023 she was granted with a scholarship from the Nils Johan Sjöstedt foundation.
